What is IELTS?
  • The International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication.
  • Is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), British Council and IDP: IELTS Australia, IELTS conforms to the highest international standards of language assessment. It covers the four languages skills-listening, reading, writing and speaking.
  • Is recognized by universities and employers in many countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. It is also recognized by professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.
  • Is not recommended for candidates under the age of 16.
IELTS

Test Administration:
  • IELTS tests are administered at centers throughout the world-there are more than 500 centers, in over 125 countries. A full list of centers is available on the IELTS website www.ielts.org.
  • Is available up to four times in a month. Please contact the relevant center for exact test dates. Results will be produced 13 days after the test.
  • The candidate will only receive one copy of their test result and replacement copies will not be provided. Additional copies can be sent directly to receiving organizations and institutions by test centers.
  • Registered organizations can receive test results electronically through the e-downloads service.

Test Requirements:
  1. Accomplished Registration form
    (You may download it from www.britishcouncil.org or www.philippines.idp.com )
  2. Two (2) passport size or 2x2 pictures
  3. photocopy of any of the following identification cards (passport,PRC,SSS,GSIS, Driver's License)
  4. You may pay through a manager's check payable to either British Council or IDP Australia worth P 8,640 or you may pay in cash through our office.
